If you are concerned about street crossings in the neighborhood....

The fourth quarter Greater Heights Super Neighborhood Council/SNC 15 meeting will be next Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at the old Houston Heights City Hall & Fire Station on the corner of 12th and Yale, beginning at 6:30 PM.

Please join us, as At-Large Houston City Council Member Amanda Edwards will discuss Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts one year out; infrastructure plans for the City of Houston; as well as the upcoming I-45 Improvement plan.

In addition, Ian Hlavacek of Houston Public Works and  Lauren Grove of the Houston Planning Department we will resume our discussion regarding the hike/bike trail, as it relates to street crossings in the Greater Heights area.  Houston Public Works has been talking with the City Traffic Engineer, and they have been collecting additional traffic counts in an effort to determine what is and isn’t possible. This includes places where the hike/bike trail crosses major streets, and in particular, the pedestrian crossings of Studewood. Advocates for school crossing guards on Studewood may also be joining us.

Please plan to attend this last meeting of the Greater Heights Super Neighborhood Council/SNC for the year 2018.
