| HEIGHTS HIGH CELEBRATES HISD PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR! |
The PTO is thrilled to share that our very own Ms. Wendy Hampton has been named HISD Principal of the Year! Heights Bulldogs gathered for a special pep rally and celebration last Thursday to honor this incredible achievement. All students and staff enjoyed cake and ice cream, and Ms. Hampton was presented with a trophy. The HHS band, dancers, cheerleaders and Rusty performed as the school community came together to celebrate this well-deserved honor. We are so very proud and grateful for our wonderful Bulldog community and amazing leadership! Congratulations, Ms. Hampton!

This year marks a monumental year for Heights High School. This is our 100th year in the building and we plan to celebrate all year! UT Austin College Night a Huge Success at Heights!
Heights High School was honored to host the University of Texas at Austin College Showcase on October 16—a first-of-its-kind event in Houston! The evening was open to seniors interested in learning more about UT Austin and the many opportunities the university offers. The purpose of the showcase was to inform, attract, and support prospective students and their families, inspiring them to apply and explore the academic paths available at UT. Representatives provided valuable information about admissions, housing, and financial aid, along with breakout sessions highlighting various colleges and majors. Students also enjoyed hearing directly from a student panel about campus life. In true Longhorn spirit, UT made the night fun and memorable by providing food, photo booths, and plenty of school pride. It was a fantastic event for our Bulldogs! |

We invite all parents, family, guardians, teachers and students to join the Heights High School Parent Teacher Organization - HHS PTO. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join! HHS PTO works very hard raising money to fund services, programs, and materials that are not covered in the school budget. All of the money raised by the PTO, including membership fees, stays 100% at our school. It is *not* mandatory for members to attend meetings or volunteer, but members are very welcome to contribute in a way that works for you! We have general meetings throughout the year. Exact dates and times of our general meetings will always be posted to Facebook and Instagram and in our PTO newsletter. There are six membership levels for the 2025- 2026 HHS PTO.
