The homecoming dance is postponed to Saturday, November 1. Tickets will be sold from the concession stand near the gymnasium.

This year marks a monumental year for Heights High School. This is our 100th year in the building and we plan to celebrate all year!  Support the class of 2027 and order your exclusive yard sign designed by Heights teacher, Mr. Pruneda. Signs are $20. We invite all parents, family, guardians, teachers and students to join the Heights High School Parent Teacher Organization - HHS PTO. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join!

HHS PTO works very hard raising money to fund services, programs, and materials that are not covered in the school budget. All of the money raised by the PTO, including membership fees,  stays 100% at our school.

It is *not* mandatory for members to attend meetings or volunteer, but members are very welcome to contribute in a way that works for you! We have general meetings throughout the year. Exact dates and times of our general meetings will always be posted to Facebook and Instagram and in our PTO newsletter.

There are six membership levels for the 2025- 2026 HHS PTO. Please join us today!

Teacher Grant Request Form is now OPEN!  Teachers and Staff... this is for you!  The PTO can award up to $1,200 for a teacher grant each year. Submit on behalf of your classroom, team, club, CTE or organization! Funds are limited so try to get your requests in early.  Please email Angela Alvarado with any questions you may have. Congratulations to the Heights High School Band! They received Straight 1’s from the judges at the UIL Regional Meet last week and advanced to the Area Marching Contest which was held just yesterday. 

The 2025 theme for the HHS Band is "let the kids have fun" and boy, did they!  After months of practice, their season ended Monday with a spectacular show at the Area I competition.  The band marched with joy and precision, ending the contest several places ahead of where they finished last season.  This year's show was titled, "Let the Kids Have Fun" and featured music from Willy Wonka, Rainbow Connection, and Let's Go Fly A Kite.  

The Bulldog Band was met with a challenge of bigger bands and bigger budgets, but they shined at that stadium as they brought their show to life and chased history!  No HISD school has ever made the finals at the UIL Area Marching Contest, and the Bulldogs' performance showed their heart, determination and ability to rise to a challenge.  For two consecutive seasons they have qualified for Area competition.

While the marching season is concluded, the band marches on - to Walt Disney World over Spring Break!  Being chosen to march down Main Street USA is a great honor and a wonderful celebration of the joy and dedication the Bulldog Band displayed this year.
