| This year, Heights High School celebrates its 100th year of serving Heights students. Located in the heart of the Houston Heights, Heights High School serves more than 2,500 students from the Heights and surrounding neighborhoods. We are an A-rated Title I school with a diverse student body and exceptionally supportive families.
On March 21, 2026, we will host our annual Bulldog Bash Auction celebrating 100 years of Bulldog Pride, and we are seeking your help to make this event a success. PTO Senior Scholarships Application Now Open Heights HS PTO will award $20,000 in student scholarships to Class of 2026 Seniors. The scholarship committee will focus on students who may not otherwise receive scholarship support and have a strong commitment to furthering their education. Requirements: Information:

HHS PTO works very hard raising money to fund services, programs, and materials that are not covered in the school budget. All of the money raised by the PTO, including membership fees, stays 100% at our school. It is *not* mandatory for members to attend meetings or volunteer, but members are very welcome to contribute in a way that works for you! We have general meetings throughout the year. | HHS SUCCESS AT HOUSTONFEST |
The Heights German students competed at the annual German competition Houstonfest on February 7. They placed 5th among all competing Houston area schools. A special shout to the Level 3 and Level 4 skits which each placed 1st. Senior Diego Diaz was given the honor of best actor. Junior Sarah Cruser placed 2nd with her research paper and sophomore Jilliane Umul placed 2nd with her prose reading. A total of 27 Heights students will compete at the Texas State German Competition in San Marcos on February 28. |

| Thirteen students from Johannes Kepler high school in Leipzig joined a partner student at Heights for two weeks. They experienced a regular American school day shadowing their partner student at Heights, and they were shown many highlights in the Houston area including Space Center Houston, Meow Wolf, Brazos Bend State Park and a Rockets game. The Heights partner students will join them back in Leipzig for two weeks following graduation here in June.
