This year, Heights High School celebrates its 100th year of serving Heights students. Located in the heart of the Houston Heights, Heights High School serves more than 2,500 students from the Heights and surrounding neighborhoods. We are an A-rated Title I school with a diverse student body and exceptionally supportive families. On March 21, 2026, we will host our annual Bulldog Bash Auction celebrating 100 years of Bulldog Pride, and we are seeking your help to make this event a success. Please consider donating sponsorship, items, gift certificates, or services to our auction.All donations will be publicized on our website and across our social media accounts. To make donating easy, you can access our online donation form with sponsorship levels here: Bulldog Bash.Your contribution directly supports Heights High School students, teachers, and programs. The school PTO is committed to enhancing the educational experience for all students. We fund teacher supply reimbursements, grants, college scholarships, and teacher appreciation events. With school budgets continuing to be cut, the PTO can help fill some of the gaps and keep education at the highest possible level. Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, we have achieved remarkable milestones in recent years, including: - Establishing a Principal Priorities fund to help address budget shortfalls.

- Expanding teacher supply reimbursements and grants for teachers, clubs, and organizations.

The auction committee is collecting bottles of wine to be raffled off at the Bulldog Bash Wine Pull. We are accepting bottles worth $25 or more, or cash donations to be used to purchase bottles. This year marks a monumental year for Heights High School. This is our 100th year in the building and we plan to celebrate all year! | We invite all parents, family, guardians, teachers and students to join the Heights High School Parent Teacher Organization - HHS PTO. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join! HHS PTO works very hard raising money to fund services, programs, and materials that are not covered in the school budget. All of the money raised by the PTO, including membership fees, stays 100% at our school. It is *not* mandatory for members to attend meetings or volunteer, but members are very welcome to contribute in a way that works for you! We have general meetings throughout the year. Exact dates and times of our general meetings will always be posted to Facebook and Instagram and in our PTO newsletter. There are six membership levels for the 2025- 2026 HHS PTO. | LEIPZIG - HEIGHTS EXCHANGE PROGRAM |
From January 24th to February 7th, Heights HS is hosting a group of 14 students from the Johannes - Keppler Gymnasium School in Leipzig. This program is part of the German American Partnership Program (GAPP) and provides a great opportunity for Heights students to improve their German language skills and learn about other cultures! German students will be attending classes, extracurricular activities and field trips with their Heights students. Heights students will head to Leipzig in Germany in early June for their portion of the exchange program. Desde el 24 de enero hasta el 7 de febrero, la preparatoria Heights recibirá a 14 estudiantes de la escuela preparatoria Johannes Keppler Gymnasium en Leipzig, Alemania. Este intercambio es parte de un programa Americano-Alemán (GAPP), el cual provee a los estudiantes de Heights la oportunidad de mejorar sus habilidades lingüísticas en el idioma Alemán y aprender acerca de otras culturas. Durante su estadía en Houston, los estudiantes Alemanes asistirán a clases, actividades extracurriculares y varias excursiones. Los estudiantes de Heights viajarán a Alemania a principios de junio para participar en la parte correspondiente del programa de intercambio.
