HISD Advanced Placement students and teachers are invited to attend AP: The Countdown to help prepare for Advanced Placement exam season.
AP: The Countdown will take place at Energy Institute High School from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 30. Throughout the morning, students and teachers will participate in three different review sessions aimed at helping them feel confident and prepared for AP exam season.Students should register here by March 27. Attendance Awareness —— At Heights HS ADA attendance is taken each day at 10:00am, but attendance is taken in every class - so, attendance in EVERY class is important. In addition, poor attendance in any class can result of loss of credit for the class. Beginning with the Spring Semester, Heights High School has been approved for Spring Final Exam Exemptions for students meeting attendance and grade averages as follows:
Ninth grade students may exempt one exam* Tenth grade students may exempt two exams* Eleventh grade students may exempt three exams* Senior students may exempt all exams*
