A YEAR TO CELEBRATE
6/1/2026 9:01 pm
Hello Bulldog Families,
As we come to the end of the 25/26 school year, I find myself once again amazed by the students, faculty, staff, and Heights community. This was the school’s 100th year in our building, and what a year it was!
We celebrated this monumental accomplishment all year in Bulldog Merch, interaction with alumni, events with our feeder schools, and our annual Bulldog Bash auction.
As the PTO, we serve as a partner to every aspect of this school, and as this school excels, our community excels. Because of the generosity of PTO and community members, we were able to:
- Encourage teachers and staff through regular appreciation events,
- Support senior activities like Senior Sunrise, Sunset, Signing Day, monthly celebrations, and more,
- Celebrate our students at Awards Night,
- Provide funding to activities like Go Texan Day, Special Olympics, and the SLL Valentine's Party,
- Awarded $20,000 in college scholarships to class of 2026 graduates, and
- Funded special grants that included, but are not limited to, Model United Nations, Reading Clubs, Band, Science Projects, Robotics Clubs, Chess Club, and supported multiple sports teams.
The PTO tries to touch as many students as possible with the money we raise for this amazing school and team, and we couldn’t do it without you. Thank you. As long as our students and teachers feel pride and support from us, we will continue to be successful in our endeavors.
We are not all able to give monetarily, and we are not all able to give through time, but we all want our students to be afforded the tools and encouragement they need to grow as a young adult and high school students, and believe that there is no obstacle stopping them, as a Heights (Reagan) High School Bulldog, from accomplishing anything and everything their hearts desire.
From my family to yours, thank you for a wonderful year. I’m honored to serve as PTO president again next year and can’t wait to see what all we accomplish together! Have a great summer!
LaTrice Ferguson, PTO President
